Rest Days for Ashtanga Practitioners are Saturdays, New & Full Moon.

Ashtanga Yoga

The term "Mysore style" refers to the Ashtanga yoga method as taught by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois in Mysore, India. Students of all levels, from the complete beginner to the established practitioner, receive one-on-one guidance, suited to the needs and capabilities of the individual.

There are no pre-requisites to starting the Mysore program.  In the Mysore class, the ashtanga sequence is taught progressively over a period of time. This teaching method cultivates the correct use of ujjayi (breathing technique), drishti (gazing points), and asana (posture), as well as the vinyasa (movement/breathing technique).

Daily practice establishes a steady foundation, strengthens and purifies the body, and steadies and calms the mind.

Beginners will benefit greatly from this daily program in a supportive environment of one-on-one instruction.
